The two central Indian wildlife parks, Bandhavgarh and Kanha, along with the well-known Ranthambhore tiger reserve in Rajasthan, offer you the best opportunity to view and photograph tigers. The duration of time spent in each park has been planned so as to maximize your chances of game/ wildlife viewing is possible . Wildlife safari drives in open jeeps along with elephant-back rides in Kanha and Bandhavgarh help track tigers and other game. You are accompanied by our experienced naturalists and trackers who will share their in-depth knowledge about the area to enrich your holiday*.

Tiger, Bandhavgarh National ParkAt Ranthambhore, along with tigers see the spectacular 1000-year-old fort and the scattered ruins of mosques, temples and palaces. In its lakes, which serve as vital sources of water, you see Sambar and Marsh Crocodiles basking on the banks. We may also come across the Sloth Bear, Blackbuck, handsome Caracal, Chinkara, in nearby villages. Bandhavgarh, famous the world over for its high tiger density, also offers other species like Jungle Cat, Muntjac and the only four-horned antelope in the world, the Chausingha. You can also view large number of bird species. The rocky crags below Bandhavgarh fort may reveal Leopard and birds like Malabar Pied Hornbill and Peregrine Falcon. In the rich meadows of Kanha, you can see the last remaining population of the Hard-ground Barasinga, the Dhole (Indian wild dog) and Gaur (Indian Bison), which prefer the dense Sal forest.

While you are on the lookout for the tiger, you might want to get some birds on your checklist. Notable species include Painted Sandgrouse, Indian Courser, Brown Fish Owl, Bonelli's Eagle, Painted Spurfowl, Chestnut-bellied Nuthatch, Red Jungle Fowl, Painted Francolin and Greater Racket-tailed Drongo. The tour also includes a visit to the Taj Mahal at Agra and two full days of birdwatching at Bharatpur, considered the finest bird sanctuary in the world.


1st Day : DELHI to RANTHAMBHORE NATIONAL PARK
Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Early morning transfer to railway station to board the train for Sawai Madhopur to arrive by noon and transfer to lodge. Followed by evening game drive at Ranthambhore National Park. Overnight at Vanya Vilas / Sawai Madhopur lodge / Aman I Khas.

2nd & 3rd Day : RANTHAMBHORE NATIONAL PARK
Morning and evening game drives in the Ranthambhore National Park. Overnight at resort.

Painted Stork, Bharatpur National Park4th Day : RANTHAMBHORE NATIONAL PARK to BHARATPUR
Early morning transfer to railway station to board the train for Bharatpur. Late morning arrive Bharatpur and transfer to The Bag Resort followed by full day bird watching in Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. Overnight at The Bagh

5th Day : BHARATPUR to AGRA and UMARIA
Morning depart Bharatpur by surface through Luxury andComfortable Car for Agra (55 km) stopping en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Agra and visit fabled Taj Mahal. Afternoon transfer to railway station to board overnight train to Umaria. Overnight on board the train.

6th Day : UMARIA to BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
Early morning arrive Umaria and transfer to Bandhavgarh (33 km). Arrive Bandhavgarh and check in at resort. Evening game drive in Bandhavgarh National Park. Overnight .

7th & 8th Day : BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
Morning and evening game drive in the Bandhavgarh National Park. Overnight at lodge.

Bison, Kanha National Park9th Day : BANDHAVGARH to KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Morning depart Bandhavgarh by surface for Kanha National Park (335 km). Arrive Kanha and check in at lodge. Overnight at the Resort/ lodge

10th & 11th Day : KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Morning and evening game drive in Kanha National Park. Overnight at resort/ lodge.

12th Day : KANHA NATIONAL PARK to JABALPUR and DELHI
Morning game drive in Kanha National Park. Later in the morning depart Kanha by surface for Jabalpur to connect overnight train for Delhi. Overnight on board the train.

13th Day : DEPART DELHI
Early morning arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Full day at leisure or optional tour of Old and New Delhi In time transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
