MTDC's luxury train, Deccan Odyssey to resume from September 2011

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation’s (MTDC) much-celebrated luxury train will start its operation for tourists from September 28, 2011.

Vijay Chavan, Chief Project Officer, Deccan Odyssey and General Manager of MTDC said the tariff and other nitty gritties are being worked out before it rolls out for the travellers on three routes which would include Jaipur, Aurangabad and Konkan region.

With increasing awareness of important tourist destinations in Vidarbha, Marathwada and Konkan region, this refurbished train is targeted to attract both domestic and international tourists.

Travel agents across the country will have another high end leisure product this season especially for the foreign tourists.
